Annual 2018, perhaps better known as the 10th edition Jubilee, is rapidly approaching. So much so that the one-month-to-go milestone has in fact been celebrated today. Organizing Committee has utilized this milestone by delivering a special announcement regarding venues of the upcoming celebrations. It has been decided that the whole of Brazil will be part of this historic edition, with the Olympic city of Rio de Janeiro being the very center of the action.
Various delegations from all continents will be stationed around Brazil in total of 10 cities. The exact homes of each delegation have not been revealed at this point, as the organizers are likely waiting for the voting period to be completed. Final weekend show itself will be held in Rio de Janeiro, with the action being spread between the historic Maracana stadium (Opening and Closing Ceremonies) and the recently built Olympic Park (Grand Final). Aside from the Grand Final, the Olympic Park will also play host of several other festivities, such as: the World Music Street, in which international artists from Festival of Music will perform; the Brazilian Roots Street, a stage for contemporary and classical artists from the home nation; the TISC Official Exhibition at the Carioca Arena, where the achievements and history of TISC will be celebrated; and the Winterfest Special Presentation, taking place at the Aquatics Centre which will be transformed into an ice rink for this occasion.
Maracana Stadium will incredibly get to host no less than three Global events in a matter of four years, having previously hosted the 2014 World Cup and the 2016 Summer Olympics.
